In another initiative to raise awareness about women’s safety and right to the city, a walk under the slogan ‘Claim Your City by Night’ was held in New Delhi on Friday December 10, 2010, to commemorate International Human Rights Day. Nearly two hundred people including students, NGO members, and activits participed in the walk.
Emmanuelle Paris-Cohen and Shivani Bhardwaj from Sathi All for Partnerships and HIC-Women and Habitat Network were among the main organizers of the event.
