Understanding and implementing the right to the city: Building just, democratic and sustainable cities

The key challenge for developing policies, planning and
urban development is to promote social justice and inclusion in the cities.

The lessons in this training guide include experiences and
initiatives that are being analyzed in an international study organized by
Habitat International Coalition, the Fórum Nacional de Reforma Urbana (Brazil)
and Instituto Polis (Brazil), with the goal of bringing the right to the city
into practice.
