The meeting opened with a general introduction on the right to housing in Mexico,
following by presentations and testimonies by several movements and organizations
on the following themes:
1. Housing credit situation, including troubling financial-sector trends, p. 3-7;
2. Situation of indigenous groups living in Mexico City, citizens settled in risk-prone
areas, evictions in the city, p. 7-13;
3. Urban growth and its impacts (wastes, water, pollution, lifestyle impacts, etc.) p.
13-19;
4. Mega-projects, displacements, p. 19-25.
