New HRAH Violations Database

On World Habitat Day, 2005, HLRN is launching a new interactive and participatory feature on its website. It is an initiative by HLRN officers and members to build a simple database that will host basic information on the world’s most common housing and land rights violations. The Violations Database Project (VDP) will offer a very simple method for documenting violations arising from cases of (1) forced eviction, (2) demolition, (3) confiscation and (4) privatization of public goods and services. The VDP has been created for members, but HLRN invites the general public to participate and benefit.
