At the European Social Forum in London HIC European members organized a
regional meeting, mainly to redefine the regional coordination. Unione
Inquiline suspended its activities as Focal Point and a regional committee
was formed committed to building HIC in Europe with the following lines of
action:
i. International task force on privatisation. Research – political
interventions – campaigns
ii. Monitoring housing rights in Europe
iii. Advocacy towards UN institutions and EU in Brussels
iv. Support of partners in Eastern Europe and Russia
