Call for HIC Co-Learning Space Curators

learning-post-its

Do you want to join a collective body of curators that will coordinate and facilitate one of these dynamic co-learning spaces?

  • Feminist approaches to habitat (Aug – Nov 2021)
  • Land rights  (Sep – Dec 2021)
  • Multi-level advocacy (Oct 2021 – Jan 2022)

Co-learning spaces are cross-regional, multi-session encounters for interested HIC Members, Friends and allies to generate and multiply emancipatory learning practices based on human rights related to habitat. Each co-learning space will contribute to strategic efforts to strengthen HIC and its Members’ social force and capacity to influence progress and mainstream gender and human rights related to habitat in our individual and collective work. Over the coming months, you will see several opportunities to contribute to, and participate in, these co-learning spaces.

Each co-learning space will be hosted over an extended time period (around three months), mostly online, in collaboration with HIC and the Knowledge in Action for Urban Equality (KNOW) programme. We are now inviting an expression of interest to form the 3-person curator team of each co-learning space.

For more information, see and clearly state which curator team you want to be part of (feminist approaches English / Español / Français / Português / Arabic  OR land rights English / Español / Français / Português / Arabic  OR multi-level advocacy English / Español / Français / Português /Arabic). Please note that each curator team will consist of three people, one from Africa, MENA and Latin America respectively.

  • Please send application documents by 09 July 2021 with “Co-learning space and the respective theme” in the subject line to Yolande Hendler, secretary.general@hic-net.org
