African regional civil society consultation on women and adequate housing

With support from UN-Habitat, a regional civil society consultation was organized for the Special Rapporteur in Nairobi in October 2002, which allowed collection of information from women from East and Southern African countries. The results of this consultation were reflected in the preliminary report presented to the Commission in 2003.
