الحملة الانتخابية للرئيس الائتلاف انتخابات 2015 – 2019: استئناف المرشح لورينا زاراتي ل

درست لورينا
التاريخ في جامعة لابلاتا الوطنية بالأرجنتين. في نفس الوقت كانت تعمل عضوة ومحررة فريق النشر في مركز
دراسات البيئة والمشروعات بأمريكا اللاتينية, منبر أمريكا اللاتينية لدراسات
البيئة وصحيفة البيئة.

إنتقلت إلي المكسيك في عام 1990. في عام 200 بدأت
التعاون مع مؤسسة التضامن للإسكان والتنمية وبعض أعضاء تحالف المكسيك

للمسكن (المختصرات باللغة الإسبانية)، بين عامي 2011-2013

الشعبية للمناطق الحضرية الجمعية العالمية الأولي للسكان
حيث كانت لورينا بين عامي 2003- 2011 المنسق الإقليمي للتحالف

الدولي للموئل
مكتب أمريكا اللاتينية .في أواخر عام 2011 إنتخبت لورينا رئيساً للتحالف الدولي
للموئل (2011-2015)

خلال هذه السنوات،
شاركت لورينا بمشاركة العديد من المبادرات المحلية والوطنية الأخرى في وضع ونشر
الميثاق العالمي للحق في المدينة، وفي عملية التشاور لتحديد برنامج حقوق الإنسان في
المكسيك العاصمة، ولجنة التعزيز لوضع ميثاق الحق في المكسيك العاصمة.

على المستوى الدولي، السيدة لورينا كانت تعمل في تعاون وثيق
مع المقرر الخاص للأمم المتحدة المعني بالحق في السكن الملائم وكذلك مع مكتب المفوض
السامي للأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان لإعداد التقارير والتوصيات الموضوعية للحكومات
الوطنية والمحلية في كيفية تحسين أمن حقوق حيازة الأرض والسكن والحق في المدينة في
جميع أنحاء العالم.

وقاد شاركت أيضاً في تحرير ونشر كتب ومقالات في أمريكا اللاتينية
وأمريكا الشمالية وجنوب أفريقيا وأوروبا حول قضايا تتعلق بحقوق السكن والإنتاج الاجتماعي
وإدارة الموئل والحق في المدينة.

شاركت كمتحدث في العديد من ورش العمل والندوات والمؤتمرات،
وكذلك في اجتماعات أعضاء التحالف الدولي للموئل وحلفائه، والمجتمعات المحلية والنشطاء
والسلطات في 27 بلدا، وكثير من تلك الدول التي تدخل في إطار المنتدى الحضري العالمي
والمنتدي الاجتماعي العالمي.

وقد قدمت أيضا
محادثات ومحاضرات عامة في الجامعات في الأرجنتين، بوليفيا، البرازيل، كندا، كولومبيا،
الإكوادور، فرنسا، المكسيك، كوريا الجنوبية، اسبانيا، السويد، سويسرا والولايات
المتحدة الأمريكية. في عام 2013 منحت
جائزة جون بوسفيلد للتميز من تورونتو،

قسم الجغرافيا والتخطيط العمراني – جامعة تورنتو.

في الآونة الأخيرة، قدمت كممثل للتحالف الدولي للموئل بيان متعلق بـ
“المناطق الحضرية” في مجلس حقوق الإنسان للأمم المتحدة كأول جزء مكمل لميثاق
المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي وجدول أعمال التنمية المستدامة لمرحلة ما بعد عام
2015، وعملية الموئل الثالث.

حاليا هي المنسق
المشارك لمشروع دولي للترويج للمنتدى العالمي للحق في المدينة ويعمل المشروع في تعاون
وثيق مع الموظفين وأعضاء التحالف الدولي للموئل، وكذلك مع الحركات الاجتماعية والمنظمات
غير الحكومية وشبكات دولية لوضع خطة عمل مشتركة لتطوير الشبكات والتحالفات والبحوث
وبناء القدرات، واستراتيجيات الاتصال والمناصرة.
